The Barranquilla Mayor’s Office, Grupo Argos’ Urban Development Business, and Tecnoglass announced the completion of the road circuit connecting Carrera 75A, Calle 98, and Vía 40, a key infrastructure project aimed at further strengthening industrial, commercial, and residential development in this area of the city.

This project, representing a joint investment of COP 15 billion and generating approximately 150 jobs during its construction, became operational on February 26, significantly improving mobility and reducing travel times in northern Barranquilla. The road circuit is part of the Mayor’s Office’s 2024–2027 Development Plan and will facilitate economic growth in the area, where new investments in industry, housing, and commerce are projected over the next decade.

“Actions speak louder than words, and this project not only proves that we are building Barranquilla together but also that our city is unstoppable. Hand in hand with our business sector, today we deliver this road circuit, which strengthens the economic development of the north while significantly improving mobility in a key area for the city.”

With this project, Barranquilla advances in its development, creating more job opportunities and attracting investment to strengthen its position as a leading city in growth.”

The works, which lasted 12 months, enhance connectivity by improving traffic flow and providing better access between Vía 40, Carrera 75A, and Calle 98. This benefits thousands of residents and businesses in the area.

“We are proud to be part of this project, which improves mobility, boosts economic development in the north of the city, and enhances the well-being of Barranquilla’s residents. At Tecnoglass, we believe that the city’s future is built through the joint efforts of the private and public sectors.”
