- With this cohort of scholarship graduates, the Grupo Argos Foundation reaches 87 young people benefited from the program in the region.
- The new scholarships give continuity to the comprehensive environmental care program carried out by the Grupo Argos Foundation in this region of Antioquia and which include reforestation efforts, inter-institutional scientific research programs and environmental education initiatives that benefit the communities of the territory.
The Grupo Argos Foundation and the Julio C. Hernández Foundation awarded 71 scholarships for young high school graduates in southwest Antioquia that seek to promote community training in technical and technological careers in areas related to environmental care. Among the academic offerings there are programs of Management in Natural Resources, Agricultural Management, Techniques in Tourism Alliance and Livestock Management, among others.
With this award, the Grupo Argos Foundation reaches 87 young people with scholarships in the region as an initiative that seeks to contribute to closing inequality gaps through education and strengthen the leadership capacities and sense of belonging of young people towards their territories, contributing to the development of this region of Antioquia. The investment of the Grupo Argos Foundation for this initiative amounts to COP 285 million pesos and is added to the projects in environmental material that have been developed in the area such as the planting of more than 423,000 trees in the last three years.

Efforts of the Grupo Argos Foundation in education
The Grupo Argos Foundation, through its Scholarships for Territorial Transformation program, has benefited 290 young people in the country since 2015 by providing financial resources to cover the costs of tuition in technical, technological and professional careers and assume the cost of maintenance during the study period. The investment in this program amounts to more than COP 10,000 million.
