- Jorge Mario Velásquez, president of Grupo Argos; Juan Esteban Calle, president of Cementos Argos; and Ricardo Sierra, president of Celsia, stood out in Merco Líderes as some of the most recognized business executives in Colombia.
- Cementos Argos, Grupo Argos’ construction materials company, ranked 10, while Celsia, the energy business, ranked 43.
The Business Monitor of Corporate Reputation, Merco, recognized Grupo Argos as one of the 15 best reputed companies in Colombia, occupying position 14, Cementos Argos was part of the top 10 for the eighth consecutive year, this time in position 10 and Celsia was it remained in 43rd place. For its part, Grupo Empresarial Argos once again stood out as the conglomerate with the best reputation in Colombia.

Merco also presented the list of business leaders with the best reputation, in which Jorge Mario Velásquez, president of Grupo Argos, ranked 7, Juan Esteban Calle, president of Cementos Argos, ranked 19 and Ricardo Sierra, president of Celsia ranked 21st.
The rating of the companies results from the sum of five evaluations carried out by financial analysts, economic journalists, professors of management careers, government members, influencers, company employees and consumers. Merco measures management and perception in topics such as innovation, human talent, internationalization, corporate governance, financial results and presence in the digital ecosystem.
