With a consolidated investment that exceeds COP 96,000 million (25% above 2021), Grupo Argos, Cementos Argos, Celsia and Odinsa, stood out for the sixth consecutive year among the companies in Colombia with the highest social investment according to the Index of Private Social Investment published by the firm Jaime Arteaga y Asociados. In the results published today, Grupo Argos ranked 7th, climbing 6 positions, Cementos Argos ranked 6th, and Celsia stood out from 14 out of more than 165 companies.
In 2022, the organization focused its efforts on programs and initiatives to strengthen road infrastructure and service provision in communities, education and research, job creation, rural development, art and culture, which benefited more than 1.2 million of people in the country. Of the total investment, more than COP 34,000 million were executed by Fundación Grupo Argos, the organization’s voluntary social investment vehicle, which carried out projects in 15 Colombian departments. To this figure is added the investment of the Argos Business Group in Works for Taxes projects, a mechanism through which between 2018 and 2022 it executed more than COP 200,000 million in road and educational infrastructure, benefiting more than 240,000 people.

It collects information from more than 165 companies in Colombia and highlights the 30 with the greatest social investment efforts, taking into account the practices that contribute to sustainability. The companies of the Argos Business Group have participated in the Index since 2017.
