Grupo Empresarial Argos continues to strengthen the reputation of its companies in Colombia, according to the Corporate Reputation Business Monitor, Merco. For the third consecutive year, Grupo Argos was included in the top 10 companies with the best reputation in the country, reaching the 8th position—an improvement of two places compared to the previous year. Additionally, for the fifth consecutive year, it secured the top spot among the most admired and respected business conglomerates in the country.
Cementos Argos, the construction materials company of Grupo Argos, ranked 16th, moving up one position, and claimed the first spot in its sector. This achievement follows significant milestones in recent months through its Sprint 2.0 program, which has led to a 140% increase in its stock price over the past year and a half, along with the conversion of its preferred shares, among other relevant achievements for all stakeholders.
Celsia, the energy company of Grupo Argos, ranked 49th overall and third in its sector. Its strong performance reflects the leadership it has developed in Colombia’s energy transition and the region through the operation of 19 solar farms, the installation of the first energy storage system in the country, and the development of innovative products and services such as Celsia Internet, which serves more than 94,000 customers, and enerBIT, a platform giving over 10,000 customers in Barranquilla, Bogotá, Cali, Cartagena, and Medellín control over their energy consumption.
Finally, Odinsa entered the ranking in 152nd place and secured 5th position in the construction and infrastructure sector.
The monitor also assesses the performance of corporate communications teams. On this occasion, the communications teams of Grupo Argos and Celsia were ranked among the best, occupying the 7th and 10th positions, respectively. This marks the second consecutive year that Grupo Argos has been part of the top 10 in this category.
