As a result of its selective and profitable growth strategy, Grupo Argos has strengthened its leadership in the infrastructure sector throughout the American continent. At the close of 2022, the company recorded revenues of more than COP 21.3 trillion, of which 45.1% correspond to its operations outside of Colombia, representing a competitive advantage in a volatile environment.

In 2012, Grupo Argos generated an EBITDA of COP 1.6 trillion, while at the close of 2022, it amounted to COP 5.2 trillion. This growth in operational performance is largely due to the company’s ability to double its EBITDA generated in Colombia, from COP 1.5 trillion to COP 3.3 trillion in 10 years. During this same period of time, the company generated 10 times more EBITDA in other countries, going from COP 0.2 trillion to COP 1.9 trillion, providing its shareholders with exposure to different economies, including that of the United States. It is worth noting that approximately 80% of the company’s income outside of Colombia is generated in dollars, and the remaining 20% in currencies highly linked to the behavior of this currency.

These results are the product of the selective and profitable growth strategy implemented by Grupo Argos, which has allowed it to position itself as one of the leading companies in the infrastructure sector with a presence in 20 countries and territories throughout the American continent.
