Over 2,800 Employees Trained in Diversity and 57% Female Representation on the Board of Directors: Grupo Argos Advances Its Equity and Inclusion Strategy

  • In line with the organization’s diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy, employees of Grupo Argos, Cementos Argos, Celsia, and Odinsa have the opportunity to participate in training spaces focused on unconscious bias, inclusive leadership, and building environments of respect and belonging.
  • Last year, Grupo Argos invested over 16,200 hours in training on diversity, equity, and inclusion topics, representing a 33% increase compared to 2023. This has contributed to the company’s recognition in international benchmarks such as Forbes’ World’s Top Companies for Women.
  • Since 2021, Grupo Argos has implemented its annual Diversity Multipliers program, an initiative that provides concrete tools for building a more equitable, just, and inclusive society. To date, more than 170 employees have participated in this program.

With a firm commitment to strengthening diverse teams and promoting inclusive and equitable environments, Grupo Argos has trained more than 2,800 employees across its companies in areas such as unconscious bias, inclusive leadership, and the creation of respectful and inclusive workplaces, reaching all organizational levels. In 2024 alone, employees invested over 16,200 hours in diversity, equity, and inclusion training, a 33% increase compared to 2023.

n line with this vision, Grupo Argos has implemented changes that have led to nearly 30% of leadership roles being held by women. Furthermore, almost 60% of the company’s Board of Directors is made up of women. The organization has also partnered with the Berkeley Women in Leadership program and other universities to support the development of over 100 women in the organization and has conducted more than 1,200 potential assessments, with a special focus on women in middle and senior management roles.

Additionally, in April, the organization launched the third cohort of its Diversity Multipliers program, designed to equip employees with tools to contribute to building a fairer, more inclusive, and equitable society. So far, more than 170 employees have participated in the program, and this year, 95 new participants began training, which includes topics such as bias, multiculturalism, sexual diversity, disability, and ethnic diversity, among others.

Through these efforts, Grupo Argos reaffirms its commitment to building more equitable and resilient organizations where diverse talent drives competitive, sustainable decisions aligned with changing environments and societal needs.
