This Thursday, February 8, the third cohort of the Chair of Sustainability and Climate Change from the National University of Colombia and Grupo Argos was inaugurated, being the first to be offered at a national level. More than 300 students from all majors at seven University campuses will have access to tools and practical cases that illustrate the theoretical application of sustainability in the construction materials, energy, and road and airport concessions industries.
The 16 sessions of the Chair will be led by more than 20 collaborators from Grupo Argos, Cementos Argos, Celsia, and Odinsa, and 10 teachers from the University, which consolidates this initiative as a key process of the joint work between the public university and the private sector to continue strengthening education in sustainability and the development of innovative solutions to climate change.
“The Chair of Sustainability and Climate Change consolidates a shared vision between these two institutions to promote academic training on a topic that is essential on the global public and private agenda, but also, it reflects the full interest among new generations of professionals in the challenges we face as a society.”
