Grupo Argos continues to strengthen its position as one of the best companies to work for in Colombia, thanks in part to a talent development strategy that spans all its businesses and prioritizes internal mobility, continuous learning, and the cultivation of a diverse and inclusive culture. A key reflection of this effort is the growth and development opportunities provided to the company’s talent: in 2024 alone, more than 1,800 people experienced mobility processes across Grupo Argos companies, with 27% of them being promotions. Women accounted for 31% of those who benefited from these growth and development opportunities.

“Internal mobility in an organization like Grupo Argos and its companies, with more than 9,500 employees, is not just a management tool, but a window of growth and development for our talent. This directly enhances our capacity for innovation, leadership, and value creation for our shareholders and stakeholders.”

Alejandro Piedrahita
Vice President of Finance and Talent at Grupo Argos

As part of its efforts to support the growth and mobility of its employees, Grupo Argos designs personalized learning and development paths within its talent development plans. In 2024 alone, the company allocated more than 566,000 hours to training—an average of 50 hours per employee. Of these, 16,200 hours were dedicated to topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, representing a 33% increase over the previous year. This is aligned with the company’s purpose of building more diverse teams, fostering safer environments, and encouraging more inclusive decision-making at all levels of the organization.

In the same spirit, Grupo Argos has a scholarship program that has benefited nearly 200 employees through financial support for postgraduate studies. Of those, 88% have had the opportunity to advance professionally within the organization.
