In the last six years, Grupo Argos Foundation has invested over COP 25,800 million in social projects in Medellín and Antioquia

  • These investments have been aimed at promoting projects and initiatives of social, environmental, cultural, educational, and health organizations in Medellín and Antioquia.
  • In total, 45 organizations have received annual contributions from Grupo Argos Foundation, establishing it as one of the most significant corporate foundations in the region due to its ability to catalyze efforts, capabilities, and resources for the well-being of people in the city and department.
  • Overall, Grupo Argos Foundation has invested more than COP 31,700 million, of which 81% has been in Antioquia.
  • Currently, Grupo Argos Foundation has a presence in 20 departments and, by the end of 2023, impacted more than 859,000 people with its programs.

As part of its commitment to driving transformation and sustainable development in the region, Grupo Argos Foundation met with more than 20 non-profit social, environmental, community, and cultural organizations. The purpose of this meeting was to strengthen the collaborative network that has been formed in recent years and has facilitated significant transformation processes in Medellín and Antioquia.

Since 2018, Grupo Argos Foundation has invested over COP 25,800 million in health, education, institutional strengthening, and cultural projects. This represents more than 80% of its consolidated investment over the past six years.

Currently, Grupo Argos Foundation is one of the largest voluntary social investment vehicles in Colombia, aiming to lead the transformation of the territories where it is present and the conservation of ecosystems in Colombia. This is achieved through programs focused on the protection of water and strategic ecosystems, as well as working together with communities to drive their economic growth and sustainable development by creating employment and educational opportunities for youth and women.
