Grupo Argos and Cementos Argos were highlighted for the third consecutive year in the Private Social Investment Index published by Jaime Arteaga y Asociados, which recognizes companies in Colombia that develop practices that contribute to sustainability in aspects of corporate social responsibility, relationship with suppliers, gender equality, inclusion and private social investment. Grupo Argos stood out in position 13 while Cementos Argos ranked fifth among 151 companies.
The consolidated investment of Grupo Empresarial Argos amounted to more than COP 49 billion in 2021 and benefited more than 475,000 people through projects focused on promoting socio-economic and rural development, education, art, culture and care for the environment through of initiatives for the protection of forests, water and biodiversity.
