Grupo Empresarial Argos' companies consolidate their reputation among the best in Colombia according to Merco

• For the third consecutive year, Grupo Argos held the top position as the business conglomerate with the best reputation in the country, highlighting the company’s strategic role in the growth and positioning of its businesses as regional infrastructure platforms. In the overall ranking, the company reached the 10th position.
• Jorge Mario Velásquez, President of Grupo Argos, Juan Esteban Calle, President of Cementos Argos, and Ricardo Sierra, President of Celsia, stood out as leading business figures in the country, holding the 8th, 16th, and 14th positions, respectively.
• Cementos Argos, the construction materials company of Grupo Argos, was placed 18th in the measurement and ranked first in its sector, after achieving significant strategic milestones in recent months, such as the agreement announced with Summit Materials to combine the organization’s operations in the United States.
• Celsia, the energy company of Grupo Argos, reached the 50th position, reaffirming its leadership role in the energy transformation in the region with over 300 megawatts of installed solar energy capacity in Colombia.

Grupo Argos, the Colombian infrastructure asset manager with a presence in 20 countries and territories in the Americas, continues to consolidate its leadership in terms of reputation, maintaining its businesses in the top positions in their respective sectors.

This was reaffirmed by the most recent results of the Corporate Reputation Business Monitor, Merco 2023, which placed Grupo Argos as the most reputable business conglomerate in Colombia for the third consecutive year and as the 10th company in the overall ranking. Cementos Argos and Celsia also strengthened their presence as leading figures in the country. Cementos Argos ranked 18th in the monitor, while Celsia reached the 50th position.

In the ranking of the most respected business leaders in Colombia, Jorge Mario Velásquez, President of Grupo Argos, maintained a prominent position in 8th place. Juan Esteban Calle, President of Cementos Argos, held the 16th position, and Ricardo Sierra, President of Celsia, occupied the 14th position.

These results reaffirm the business vision of the Grupo Argos, supported by more than 90 years of nation-building through infrastructure development.
