Grupo Argos is among the 12 outstanding companies in the country for its commitment to sustainability

• In this edition of the Colsubsidio Xposible Awards, in partnership with Cecodes, Grupo Argos’ Creamos Valor Social program was highlighted among 245 applications for its ability to contribute to the social and economic transformation of the country.
• Since its launch in 2020, Creamos Valor Social has benefited more than 6,500 people through programs and projects that seek to generate capacities and transformation processes that are sustainable over time.

As part of its commitment to contribute to the positive transformation of the territories, Grupo Argos obtained the Colsubsidio Xposible recognition for being one of the 12 companies that has worked the most to contribute to the construction of the country. In this edition, Creamos Valor Social stood out in position number 9 among 245 participating projects thanks to its projects to promote the generation of employment for young people and women, lead innovation and sustainable development processes in San Cristóbal and Moravia Medellín and the accompaniment to the company’s production chains.

To date, Creamos Valor Social has worked with more than 100 companies and organizations to promote programs such as the Alianza Empresarial por el Empleo, an initiative that has provided employment opportunities to 3,000 young people and women in the Valle de Aburrá and training on topics such as software development, cybersecurity and website development to another 600 more; Emprender Mujer, a project that seeks to create an entrepreneurial ecosystem with a gender approach, facilitating the exchange of knowledge between women entrepreneurs and the mobilization of more than 400 volunteers who have accompanied social and cultural organizations in Medellín in mentoring processes.

Xposible is a Colsubsidio initiative that seeks to promote and support the sustainability practices being carried out by Colombian companies that are committed to carrying out common work in favor of the transformation of the country and the fulfillment of the objectives of sustainable development.
