Grupo Argos, through its Urban Development Business, allocated resources in 2022 that exceeded COP 65 billion for the execution of urban planning and infrastructure works in the department of Atlántico that are marking the creation of more than 550 jobs and mobilizing the economy of the department with the help of more than 46 companies that are part of its value chain.
Among the most relevant projects are the construction and delivery of the new Parque del Realismo Mágico in Barranquilla, a development of more than 10,000 m2 of public space that includes a cultural plaza for multiple activities, a children’s area, a picnic area, 120 linear meters of bike path and an art trail that functions as an open-air gallery.
Among the investments, the contracting of urban planning for the development of the Ciudad Mallorquín project in Puerto Colombia also stands out, which includes more than COP 55 billion in the execution of strategic works for public service networks, road infrastructure and public space necessary to improve mobility. and increase recreational areas for the enjoyment of citizens.
