The Urban Development Business of Grupo Argos will hold today at 4:30 p.m. the inauguration of the Parque Boulevard Transversal 44 in the Miramar neighborhood, which facilitates the mobility and pedestrian accessibility of the sector and grants to the community recreational spaces, contemplation and sports areas. The park of 1,593 m2 is located on Miramar’s 44th transversal road and was designed and built to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of this sector of Barranquilla.
The project had an investment of more than COP 2.300 million in urban development and COP 540 million in the development of the park. Its inauguration represents great benefits for the city, such as 215 meters of perimeter platforms, green areas that seek the protection of native species, a viewpoint that allows to contemplate the city and the existing landscape, a sports sector with bio-portable machines and a 82-meter central trail with places to rest.
“We are proud to continue being part of the transformation and development of Barranquilla with a portfolio designed to bring well-being to citizens. Our Urban Development Business works tirelessly to design and execute innovative and inclusive projects like this park, with which we reach high standards of urbanism and public space that put the city at the forefront in Colombia”.

President of the Argos Business Group
The design process of this project involved the community, including the administration and inhabitants of the Barcelona residential complex and the administration of the Centro Comercial Miramar. The result is the configuration of a dynamic public space that values and preserves the existing natural elements.
The delivery of this public park is added to the 2.4 kilometers of roads in Villa Carolina delivered this year to the city, as well as the Carrera 65 – Vía al Lago open to the public in 2019, with a total investment of more than COP 16.000 million.
