The company ranked 10th for its environmental management, 8th in ethics, transparency, and good corporate governance, and 11th in the social ranking for its commitment to employees, customers, and communities.
- Cementos Argos was recognized for its outstanding performance in each of the categories. It ranked 23rd in environmental management, 19th in corporate governance, and 14th in social management. The Grupo Argos building materials company ranked 18th in the overall ranking and first in its industry.
- Celsia, the energy company of the Grupo Argos, ranked 41st in the ranking. Its leadership in the energy transition in Colombia led it to stand out in the 16th position in environmental management.
- The Merco Responsibility ESG monitor evaluates companies in terms of environmental, social, and ethical and governance issues. Some factors measured by this index are companies’ responsibility towards their employees, commitment to the environment and climate change, transparency and good governance, and overall contribution to the community in the country.
The companies of the Grupo Empresarial Argos continue to reaffirm their leadership as the most responsible companies in Colombia. In the latest publication of the Merco Responsibility ESG ranking, Grupo Argos consolidated its position for the second consecutive year at number 8, Cementos Argos ranked at 18th place, while Celsia ranked at 41st among 100 companies evaluated in terms of environmental, social, ethical and governance issues.

In 2022, as a consolidated effort, the Grupo Empresarial Argos made social investments of more than COP 108,000 million, while the Grupo Argos Foundation executed social and environmental programs for more than COP 40,400 million, benefiting more than 400,000 people and contributing to the protection of over 3,400 hectares in strategic ecosystems.
